The Sleepy Lobo Inn is a traditional Bed and Breakfast with all the comforts of home! The 1920s house is in the heart of Albuquerque's University District and steps away from bustling Nob Hill. The Innkeepers, Margie and Gene, spent 10 years renovating this once dilapidated adobe house and bringing the home back to its original splendor. The home has a rich history in Albuquerque and the Innkeepers are expert historians. Once home to the famous UNM Coach Johnson and his new bride, the Inn also is notable for serving as a local car body shop, an UNM Sorority house and the Coronado Club, home for a local Dentist, a photography studio where many UNM portraits were taken, and now a Bed & Breakfast. Margie and Gene strive to share Albuquerque's culture and rich history with all of their guests, along with stories of their many travels. Gene is a retired Veteran with 36 years in the Air Force while Margie's career in IT encompassed private and government work across several states. This Bed and Breakfast has always been part of their dreams, and they are excited to provide you with an experience you can brag about!
